Tonight I was playing around with GoAnimate and created this short clip. This is a great website, it could be used for a range of student activities including, short stories, recounts and to create social stories for students with ASD.

What do you think are the benefits surrounding this program and what contexts do you feel it would best suit? You mentioned students with ASD….what will this type of activity promote for them?

ReplyDeleteGoAnimate would be a fun way of students working together to present an information report, a narrative or a recount. With support, students with ASD could create short social stories relating to their own individual social interactions, in the playground, sharing and turn-taking etc. The videos could be watched regularly to help students understand appropriate social cues and interactions.
